The Lowry Childcare project included the renovation of an existing childcare facility that was owned and run by the U.S. Air Force. The design team evaluated the existing facility based on current building codes as well as current state childcare licensing requirements, and Head Start requirements. The project was funded by the City and County of Denver’s Department of Early Education as well as Head Start. Mile High Childcare runs the facility. Mile High opened November 1, 2002.
