Projects in 2001 and 2003 remodeled the dining room and food service areas to upgrade delivery in serving lines as well as a kitchen remodel and additional food service stations in the food delivery areas. New upgraded systems and new equipment layout were provided int he kitchen including equipment for gas-fired cooking. Gymnasium Renovation: The Wildcat Center’s gymnasium was designed and did not comply with the current NCAA standards. While rebuilding the gymnasium it was necessary to remain within the confines of the original building walls and without changing the exterior appearance of the building. The new Wildcat Center now features a NCAA regulation gymnasium with new wood floors, television broadcast capable lighting, expanded seating, and provisions for media coverage of events. New team locker and shower rooms were provided on the first floor along with a new fitness/dance area and weight room on the second floor. |
