SLATERPAULL ARCHITECTS seeking a motivated, creative, professional, senior level interior designer to help establish our growing interiors department. The candidate should have a high level of creativity, strong business and organizational skills, and good interpersonal skills in dealing with both clients and co-workers.
Qualifications:
Minimum six years experience in commercial interior design, preferably in education and religious markets
Professional degree required, NCIDQ preferred
Proficiency with Autocad and Sketchup
Professional presentation skills
Experience in contract document preparation
Experience with client contact
Responsibilities:
Overall strategic planning of the interior design process
Manage project workload for interiors department
Develop project design criteria for various project types & sizes
Lead and direct the work of other design team members
Involvement in project interview preparation and presentations
Build relationships with local vendors to maintain resource library
